My love of romance bloomed on the first day of 7th grade when I met the cutest boy I'd ever seen. I went home and told my mother I'd just met the one I was going to marry. She laughed big. I laughed last.
In high school, I won a poetry contest and have never forgotten the thrill of writing something that made others laugh. Bless my creative writing teacher, Mrs. Jacobsen's heart. To this day I can hear her say, "Well, write about it!" (read my poem)
I married my real life hero three years after high school. And he's still the cutest boy I've ever seen. We live in Kansas City with three pretty great kids. We have three cats that allow us to live with them, but not sit where we want.
After having three kids in four years, my legal pad became paper to teach the kids their ABC's and make smiley faces. Later, a home work scratch pad. Now that the kids are all old enough to keep themselves clean, well sort of, the blank page is mine again.
Always an avid reader of romance I've decided to "write about it" and I'm enjoying the process. Who wouldn't like to celebrate the love and relationship between a man and a woman? It is my hope that my stories will do that for you.
Wishing each of you a happy ending of your own,
Sherry Foley
